Hook safety buckle is a standard term for safety hooks, which is an anti release device on the crane hook that is compressed by springs, also known as a steel wire rope anti release device. A safety device to prevent accidents caused by the detachment of the lifting wire rope from the hook. It is one of the important components to ensure the safe operation of the crane. Whether the 1-20 ton hook used by a single beam crane or the hundreds of ton hook used by a double beam crane, anti tripping devices need to be installed.
The crane hook must have an anti detachment device
Failure to prevent tripping or damage to the hook may cause a tripping accident:
1. The hook does not have an anti unhooking device
This type of hook is very dangerous and prone to accidents. The country has issued relevant policies to abolish this type of hook;
2. Failure or damage to the anti detachment hook device of the hook can also cause the hook to detach
After hanging the heavy object, the anti hook device will automatically return to its position to protect and prevent the steel wire rope from falling off the hook. If the anti hook device is damaged, it will lose its protective effect, leading to the occurrence of a decoupling accident;
Inspection of crane safety hooks
1. When the car runs along the entire length of the main beam, there should be no jamming or scraping between the safety hook and the track and the main beam web.
2. The gap between the safety hook and the track should meet the design requirements.
3. The bolts should not be loose or misaligned, the welds should not crack, and the safety hook should not have any abnormal deformation or other damage.
During inspection, visual inspection and operational testing should be conducted using functional inspection as the basic method.
The anti unhooking device on the crane hook requires that it must be present for each tonnage. If it is not present, it will not pass the inspection.
