Types of Safety helmet
The safety helmets produced by our company mainly include the following types:
Class A helmets
These helmets offer impact and penetration resistance, as well as limited voltage protection (up to 2200 volts). They are suitable for general industry workers who are exposed to falling objects or debris, but not to high-voltage electrical hazards. Class A helmets are usually made of hard plastic or fiberglass and have a brim around the helmet to provide shade for the eyes.
Class B helmets
These helmets offer the best quality of protection against electrical hazards, with high-voltage shock and burn protection (up to 20000 volts). They are ideal for electricians and workers who are exposed to high-voltage environments. Class B helmets are usually made of non-conductive materials and have no brim around the helmet to avoid contact with live wires.
Class C helmets
These helmets offer lightweight comfort and impact protection, but no electrical protection. They are designed for workers who need ventilation and mobility, but are not exposed to electrical or falling hazards. Class C helmets are usually made of aluminum or plastic and have vents on the top or sides of the helmet to allow air circulation.
Safeguarding the head rom injury
Protecting employees against penetration injuries, electric shocks, and severe head impacts caused by flying or falling items is the primary purpose of hard hats and other types of safety helmets. These safety helmets shield the wearer's head from falling debris as well as immovable objects and live wires. Such protective headgear is cheap and easy to find on the internet.
Raised accident survival rates
Workers are less likely to sustain injuries in the event of an accident, such as the tipping over of a vehicle or the improper use of a piece of industrial equipment, if they are wearing protective headgear.

Increases employee visibility
Many modern helmets come equipped with reflective strips or surfaces. This feature is vital for night-time or underground work as it enhances visibility, ensuring that workers are visible to others around them. Reflective strips or surfaces on safety helmets ensure that workers are not just visible to each other but also to machine operators and vehicle drivers.
Protection against hair entanglement
Hair entanglement in machinery can be a devastating accident in the workplace, leading not just to injuries but in severe cases, fatalities. As industries and manufacturing units rely heavily on automated machinery and equipment, the risks associated with moving parts become more pronounced. One of the key protective measures against such risks is the use of helmets.
Applications of Safety helmet
General Construction (Non-Electrical):
Ideal for workers in construction settings where the primary risk is from falling objects or debris, with no exposure to electrical hazards.
01
Roadwork and Landscaping:
Used by workers who need head protection but are in environments without electrical risks, such as road crews or landscapers.
02
Hot or Confined Environments:
Suitable for indoor tasks or outdoor areas where ventilation is crucial, such as in factories, warehouses, or tunnel work, where heat is a concern but electrical exposure is not.
03
Welding or Metalworking (Without Electrical Risk):
Common for welders or metalworkers needing head protection from falling objects but not exposed to live electrical circuits.
04
Carpentry and Framing:
Often used by carpenters, framers, or other tradespeople working on non-electrical tasks where impact protection and comfort are important.

Precautions for Wearing Safety Helmets

Don’t mix and match shells and suspensions from different manufacturers.
Shells may be approved for use with several suspensions from the same manufacturer. But even if they seem to fit, components from different manufacturers are not interchangeable because they aren’t tested to ensure safety compliance.
If your hard hat feels like it could fall off, you’re wearing it wrong.
For instance, never perch a safety helmet on the back of your head.
How to make hard hats sit lower on your head.
Hard hats with a lower center of gravity are less likely to tip off, get knocked off, or feel unbalanced. But while most hard hat suspensions can be adjusted vertically, always maintain the required air space of 1-1 ¼ inches between your head and the shell that allows the safety system to work. Generally, aim for a suspension that’s tight enough so your helmet stays on when you bend over but doesn’t leave a mark on your forehead.
Consider chin straps.
If your job requires work at heights or around deep excavations, manufacturer-approved chin straps can heighten safety by helping your hard hat stay in place during a fall.
Safety shouldn’t compromise comfort!
If you experience skin abrasions or irritation, your hard hat is probably too tight. The wrong fit prevents cool air from circulating to the scalp, triggering uncomfortable sweat buildup. Hard hats that are too hot or tight may also risk permanent hair loss. Try adjusting the suspension to the proper fit and switch sizes if that doesn’t work.
Inspect your hard hat.
Look for dents, holes, cracks, and a chalky appearance to the shell that can indicate sun damage. Examine the suspension as well. If the hard hat appears worn out or damaged, it’s time for a replacement.
Replace your hard hat after an impact.
Even if a hit seems minor, it can affect the shell and suspension’s integrity. Always err on the side of safety.
When not in use or during transportation, store in a suitable container that ensures the helmet:
● Is kept out of direct sunlight,
● Is stored away from chemicals and abrasive substances,
● Cannot be damaged by physical contact with hard surfaces/items.
Storage conditions are an important factor in conserving the electrical and mechanical performance of insulating helmets. Recommended storage conditions are in the range of 20 ± 15°C.
