Rock climbing hanger must be installed on a structurally sound internal wall before the ladder can be deployed for the first time. Do not fix to an external wall. Do not tamper with or disassemble eyebolt.

1. Select solid parent material like concrete. Drill only into stone or brick. Eyebolts will not be secure if installed into mortar or wood.

2. Use a twelve-millimeter drill bit with cutting edges which are either three or four points on the head, to get a completely round hole.

3. Drill a 90 degrees hole and make sure don't move or tilt the drill during the drill.

4. Use a hammer to fix expansion screws into the solid parent

5. Install the hanger with the screws and use a wrench to tighten the nuts. Tighten locking nut on eyebolt with a spanner. Do not over-tighten!

The eyebolts should be at 90 degrees to the floor (not parallel) in their final, tightened position.
